Youth Apprenticeship (YA) Program

Interested in Youth Apprenticeship?  This program allows juniors and seniors the opportunity to receive hands-on experience, learn relevant information, and earn a paycheck! ...along with skills that can be used in any job or career. Find out more about the YA program through these informational videos featuring ELGHS alum Bryce Sitko '19:

https://youtu.be/eqCKZzMlnSk  (3-minute video)

https://youtu.be/edy-ungkgXY  (5-minute video)

The website, yawisconsin.org, has a ton of useful information where students or parents/guardians can review YA info and view different career pathways.  Visit the website for information about upcoming virtual information sessions!

After reviewing the requirements of YA, if a student is ready, the next step would be to apply to youth apprenticeship by completing this application: https://cesa6.jotform.com/210683717799168.  (This can be done anytime throughout the sophomore, junior or possibly senior year.)

Please use this link https://cesa6.jotform.com/app/240164624027954 as an option for students to complete the YA Inquiry Form ***this is not the application*** to show their interest in the program. This is ideal for students who are interested but not yet ready to apply and want additional guidance. The YA coordinator will then email students to set up a time to meet during school office hours to discuss things.

Questions?  Contact Mrs. Bunyea, HS Counselor, or Joel Evenson, YA coordinator, at jevenson@cesa6.org.
